Some Notes On Ephraim Parham.
Ephraim Parham was an early settler in Lafayette (Lincoln Co.) Tn. as early as 1811 where records indicate he was a Tavern Keeper.
He was contracted to build the first Jail House in Lafayette with the following specifications: Logs not less than 12 inches diameter and ten feet long. The walls,floor, and loft were all of logs of the same description.
